Tutor: Helen Donaghue
Days: Tuesdays, 7-9pm
Classes will be held in the first floor room of the Mill building. The class is open to all levels from complete beginners to those wishing to expand their knitting, crochet and/or embroidery skills. Students will set a goal/project at the beginning of the term. This can be simple (e.g. a simple knitted child’s hat) or complicated (e.g. an embroidered cushion cover), depending on knowledge and skill level. Helen will provide needles, hooks, wool and thread to practise and will advise students on which supplies to buy for their project. There is no need to bring any materials until a project has been decided on.

Originally an English language teacher, Helen Donaghue is currently a university lecturer working as an academic developer at Queen Margaret University. She has been knitting for over 40 years and comes from a family of keen knitters
