Gillian teaches our Clay Portraiture class on first floor Granary which runs
- on a Tuesday morning from 10am – 12noon
- and Tuesday evening from 7pm – 9pm
The fee for this class includes £10 for materials (including one bag of clay) and £15 for the firing of your work. All tools and equipment are provided along with the clay and materials needed to complete and fire your class work. Additional clay and firing can be arranged with the tutor.
Gillian Taylor MSc. Trained sculptor from Edinburgh College of Art with a MSc in Forensic Art (Human Facial Anatomy). I mostly work in clay, creating portraits in detail and in various styles. My detailed understanding of facial anatomy has allowed me to improve the accuracy and details of my portraits, whether in pencil or in clay.
